CIPD Foundation: Certificate in Human Resource Practice

The CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice is a new HR qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, replacing the popular CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP). It offers the latest in HR management principles and equips you with practical skills and knowledge of the processes and strategies involved in successful personnel management and development. It will equip you for a support-level role in any HR department. 

You will learn the fundamentals of HR Practice and build a firm foundation on which to base a successful career in human resources. You'll look at the role of human resources in business and learn to assess skills and knowledge and create skill sets that strengthen the workforce.
You'll look at data analysis and learn techniques for personnel development and motivation, such as performance-related reward programmes. The legal aspects of personnel management will be examined, as will effective strategies for successful change management.

Once completed, the Certificate in Human Resource Practice at Foundation level will provide you with the knowledge you need to continue on to Intermediate and Advanced-level CIPD courses and to apply for Associate level membership with CIPD.

This course is tailor made for those who are committed to work through the qualification within 6 months and gain their certification.

With a qualification in HR Practice from the leading professional body in the field, you'll be ready to take on a support-level role in any HR department. If you're already working in personnel, you'll have a qualification that builds on your previous experience to demonstrate your commitment to furthering your career.
You may decide to complete the Diploma in Human Resource Practice, or perhaps progress to Intermediate or Advanced-level CIPD study. Ultimately, your study and further experience could lead to Associate or Chartered status with the Institute, and the potential for senior level roles.
